The in-studio team could be heard screaming, “You’re going to be a mum!”
Tomasel said Gould “definitely has a belly now”, which she “can’t hide anymore”.
The baby is due in July.
Tomasel said the pregnancy had been “a really long time coming”.
“It’s been years and years,” she said.

“There’s been a number of years where we didn’t think it would ever happen for us. So we’re super excited. It still doesn’t feel real.”
The news comes weeks after the couple’s Coromandel clifftop engagement.
Tomasel, 37, told the Herald she was “bricking it” moments before she got down on one knee and popped the question to her long-term partner Gould last month.
“I think I said about two words on the walk up there, which is not like me,” she said of the hike to the summit of Te Pare Point, which overlooks Gould’s family bach.
“The rest was pretty much a blur,” the Celebrity Treasure Island host admitted, describing the moment as “chaotic”.

“Plot twist: she said yes,” Tomasel wrote on Instagram, posting a carousel of the images from the intimate moment.
“Sophia – she’s the most loyal, ride or die person, and that’s what I’ve always searched for,” she told the Herald’s Jenni Mortimer.
The couple said their wedding would defy convention by forgoing a bridal party.
“It’s kind of modern-day, it’ll just be us up there, and we don’t want to put that stress on anyone. And let’s be real, no one wants to be a bridesmaid anymore.”
Tomasel said the day would instead be a big celebration of family and friends.
