Hall of Fame trainer David Hayes is pleased with the condition of his champion sprinter Ka Ying Rising following his arrival into Australia.
The Everest favourite departed Hong Kong on Sunday night and landed in Sydney on Monday morning, where he has settled into his new surrounds at Canterbury Racecourse.
“He’s travelled really well,” Hayes told Racing.com.
“He’s on his feed, he’ll be doing slow walk canters for a couple of days, then he might do a little bit of striding work on Saturday morning or Sunday and then one other piece of work before the trial.
“He’s really ticking along well.”
