A Youngstown high school guidance counselor has resigned from her current position amid an ongoing investigation.
A statement from Cardinal Mooney High School and the Diocese of Youngstown states that the matter does not involve minors or any current student.

“Cardinal Mooney High School and the Diocese of Youngstown acknowledge that a guidance counselor (who was employed by a third party) resigned her position and is no longer providing services to the school. The matter does not involve a current student or any minors and all necessary and appropriate reporting has occurred. No further comment will be made during an ongoing investigation.”
