Missoula Art Museum opens new exhibit with acclaimed artist

MISSOULA, Mont. — An acclaimed artist is back in Missoula with a new exhibit opening Friday at the Missoula Art Museum.

Sara Siestreem’s latest work features large, multi-panel paintings, basket weaving, ceramics and sculpture — all tied to geometric designs inspired by traditional weaving patterns.

A reception was held for the opening Friday evening. A second artist talk is set for Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
