A couple identified only as Sheilagh and Bob N. has won April’s HSN 50/50 draw worth $459,638.

“For privacy, Sheilagh and Bob requested that only their first names and last initial be published,” the Health Sciences North Foundation said in a release.

The foundation also did not say where Sheilagh and Bob live.
In addition, April’s 50/50 featured a draw for a Pontoon Boat from Legend Boats or $50,000 in cash. Isabelle Collin won that draw, the foundation said.
Both winners purchased their winning tickets at the Health Sciences North Volunteer Association Lottery Kiosk in the main entrance of the Ramsey Lake Health Centre.

Proceeds of the HSN 50/50 support priority medical equipment purchases, cutting-edge medical research, and the future healthcare needs of northeastern Ontario through Health Sciences North Foundation. The support includes money for equipment in HSN’s Birthing Centre, where more than 1,600 babies were born last year. Staff have used proceeds to buy new bassinets, jaundice meters, fetal monitors, bedside early warning systems, and incubators.

“In moments that can be both routine and profoundly life-changing, having the right equipment truly matters. This support enables us to provide safe, compassionate care to families when they need it most,” said Lisa Grace, clinical manager of the Birthing Centre.
May’s HSN 50/50 features a guaranteed minimum grand prize of $500,000, $60,000 in early bird draws and the option to purchase add-on tickets to win a 2026 GMC Terrain Denali from Crosstown Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, with $10,000 in gas gift cards to a retailer of the winner’s choice (valued at more than $66,000) or $50,000 in cash.
Ontario residents older than 18 can purchase tickets for a chance to win. Ticket sales for the May draw end at 11:59 p.m. on May 28. The grand prize-winning ticket will be drawn on May 29.
Other draws will be held May 8 ($20,000), May 15 ($10,000) and a pick your prize ( $25,000 cash, a 2026 Grand Design Trancend 151 BH Travel Trailer from Sudbury RV worth $30,000, or no bills for a year with $10,000 cash, $10,000 in grocery gift cards, $10,000 in gas gift cards.
