MAFS Australia’s Jacqui Burfoot marries Clint Rice in Queenstown ceremony

A bold arrangement of pink roses, hydrangeas and greenery completes the scene.

Burfoot was originally matched with Ryan Donnelly, however the two proved to be better paired as rivals than as lovers, becoming estranged soon after their televised wedding.

Donnelly later applied for an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO) against Burfoot, with the New Zealander appearing in court in June last year.

Burfoot and Rice announced their engagement last April during a private viewing party for their reunion episode, with Rice proposing at a Sydney nightclub.

“Surrounded with love in love,” Burfoot later wrote on social media, flashing her custom-made 5.08ct oval diamond solitaire ring, which is set in platinum and 18ct gold.

After the season wrapped, Burfoot spoke out on social media about alleged mistreatment at the hands of show producers.

“I can’t sit back and support misleading and deceptive stories,” she said.

“You’ve been fed a highly edited fictional storyline, and I feel like you deserve to know the truth.”

By the time the couple spoke to the Herald’s Stephanie Holmes in December, she was focused on the future.

“We love each other to death,” she said.

“Clint is incredibly grounding for me. Getting engaged was the best. I like enjoying life, not dwelling [on the negatives].”

The couple expressed their love for New Zealand and Kiwis.

The couple have also said they plan to keep returning to New Zealand, where Burfoot’s family lives.
