Castletown will press ahead with a celebration of Star Wars Day – but won’t now show the films.
Chair Tony Brown says technical issues means the movies won’t be shown on a big screen later today.
However, the event in Castletown Square will feature stormtroopers as well as other fun and games from 10am.
The local authority says fancy dress isn’t compulsory – but very much encouraged!
