Fans of Doctor Who who have been keeping up with all the latest news know that the Doctor is about to embark on a multi-platform event, Circuit Breaker, starring Jo Martin as the Fugitive Doctor. This event will feature a novel Martin co-wrote titled The Kaleidoscope, which is part of a larger interconnected story across comics, audio, and games. While this must-follow Whoniverse event launches on June 25, 2026, the comic side of the event will kick off on July 8, 2026, with Titan Comics’ Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker #1. This first issue of a multi-part series will be brought to life by an all-star creative team including writers Dan Watters (Nightwing) and Dulce Montoya, artists Sami Kivelä and Roberta Ingranata, and colorist Valentina Bianconi. Among the most significant of these artifacts is the Kaleidoscope, which plays a key role in Martin’s novel. As its true nature comes into focus, the Doctor and her allies are driven toward uncovering hidden truths while confronting classic enemies such as the Daleks and Cybermen.
