The surprise arrivals quickly “cause a stir” among the existing women
The new episode of Farmer Wants a Wife airs Tuesday, May 12 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX
Love in the country is about to get a lot more complicated.
PEOPLE can exclusively announce that on the Tuesday, May 12 episode of Farmer Wants a Wife, three new women will join farmers Braden Pridemore, Brett Maverick, and Sean Cavanaugh, for a chance at finding love. To no surprise, their arrivals “cause a stir,” as existing connections are tested and tensions begin to rise.
Last season, the farmers’ mothers picked women for their sons to potentially bring back to their farm. This year, it’s the farmers’ family who introduced a new lady to their son. Season 4 also marks the first time all three men chose to bring their family’s pick to their home.
Sophia, 26, a MedSpa coordinator from Charlotte, NC, joins Brett’s farm in Savannah, Tenn., stepping into an already competitive dynamic as she looks to form a connection with the farmer.

Schyler, also 26, a flower farmer from Rushville, Illinois, heads to Braden’s farm in Illinois, where her agricultural background could give her a natural advantage.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Rheanna, a surgical technician from Owings, Maryland, arrives at Sean’s farm in central coast California, where her presence quickly adds pressure to the relationships already taking shape.
Season 4 of Farmer Wants a Wife, hosted by Kimberly Williams-Paisley, is leaning further into emotional stakes than ever before.
With more women entering the mix, and feelings already forming, the farmers are forced to make difficult decisions that could change the course of their journeys.

Last week’s episode of Farmer Wants a Wife marked a major turning point as the remaining women officially settled into life on the farms. After starting the season with 27 contestants, each farmer spent time deepening connections — including choosing one woman for a 24-hour solo date.
The episode also gave the women a firsthand look at daily farm life. On Sean’s produce farm, the group rolled up their sleeves to harvest vegetables like sage, carrots and kale, while Brett’s group pitched in with chores around his property, raking leaves outside his cabin.
Though the farmers were given the option to send someone home after their first full day together, both Sean and Brett opted to keep their groups intact, saying it was too early to make any cuts. Still, the episode ended on a cliffhanger, hinting that Braden may not hold back much longer when it comes to narrowing down his connections.
Per this season’s logline, one bold woman makes the shocking decision to leave her matched farmer in pursuit of another. Meanwhile, with more women vying for their attention than ever before, the farmers are faced with difficult choices from the very beginning and relationship tests designed to push them, including a surprise date designed by the women to explore intimacy and compatibility.
Farmer Wants a Wife airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX, with episodes available the next day on Hulu.
