Audacy country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF-FM Seattle is betting on a new morning duo to help reset its weekday lineup. The station has launched “Ellen & Aaron,” featuring Ellen Tailor and Aaron Crawford, who will now lead morning drive weekdays from 6-10am PT.

The move gives “The Wolf” a refreshed on-air approach in mornings, pairing two locally rooted personalities with deep ties to the Pacific Northwest country and entertainment scenes. They succeed “The Morning Wolfpack,” which was dissolved with the departure of Matt McAllister and the subsequent move of co-host Gabe Mercer from KKWF to co-owned “Country 107.9” KMLE Phoenix.

“We are excited to bring Ellen back home and welcome Aaron to mornings on 100.7 The Wolf,” said Brand Manager Drew Bland. “With Ellen’s established rapport and Aaron’s local stage presence, this show is a celebration of everything our community loves. Our listeners are in for a ride as we set a new chapter in Northwest mornings.”

For Tailor, the return to “The Wolf” marks something of a homecoming. She previously hosted mornings and middays at the station from 2011-2017, earning a CMA nomination for Major Market Personality. She transitioned to television in 2018 as a morning features reporter for “Fox 13” KCPQ-TV, expanding her presence across Seattle media. Outside of broadcasting, she also serves as the official in-stadium voice of the Seattle Reign, further cementing her profile in the local sports and entertainment landscape.

“What made this idea of returning to 100.7 The Wolf exciting was that it didn’t feel like going backward,” Tailor said. “It felt like adding something new and creatively fulfilling to a life I already loved, and I’m grateful to the team at Audacy for this opportunity.”

Crawford, meanwhile, brings a blend of music credibility and on-air experience to the pairing. A touring artist across the Northwest, he has recorded five studio albums and performed more than 200 shows in 2025 alone. In addition to his music career, he has been a familiar voice on the station as host of “Cascade Country,” a weekly program highlighting regional artists every Sunday night.

“I’m beyond excited to join the team at The Wolf,” Crawford said. “The opportunity to be a part of such an incredibly creative environment, and to join forces with Ellen Tailor on her return to morning radio, is such an honor. I can’t wait to be part of the way the Great Northwest wakes up.”

Behind the scenes, “Ellen & Aaron” will be guided by executive producer Captain Ron Koons, an Army veteran and Washington native.

The launch also anchors a revised weekday lineup across the station. Following “Ellen & Aaron” in mornings, Audacy national hosts fill out the rest of the weekly on-air lineup. “Katie & Company” takes over middays (10am- 3pm, followed by “Afternoons with Coop” (3-7pm) and “Rob & Holly” from 7-10pm.
