A police boat is on its way to rescue a person trapped on rocks at Ōmaha, north of Auckland.
Police received a report someone had become stuck after the tide came in about 6.30pm on Saturday.
The Police Eagle Helicopter crew then found the person on Karamuroa Point, south of
Ōmaha, a police spokesperson said, and the police boat was being sent to the spot.
