The 43-year-old royal shared his excitement to Instagram, signing off with VTID and UTV, short for “Villa ‘Till I Die” and “Up The Villa”.
“Amazing night!! Huge congratulations to all the players, team, staff and everyone connected to the club! 44 years since the last taste of European silverware,” he wrote.
“Special shoutout to Boubacar Kamara who has been out injured but is such an integral part of our team and helped lay the foundations of this success.”
The Prince of Wales was seen supporting his team at the Birmingham fixture of the semi-final earlier this month, a commanding win that secured their spot in the Europa League finals.

Today’s result is the first European trophy win in Prince William’s lifetime, with Villa last lifting continental silverware in 1982.
Supporters were filmed singing in the streets of Turkey, kicking off a series of wild festivities for the Midlands club.
Tomorrow afternoon a victory parade of open top buses will travel through Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter as the city celebrates the club’s triumph.
It follows Arsenal’s crowning as Premier League champions yesterday, the North London team’s first league title in 22 years.
Famous “Gooners” came out in force to support the team at the Emirates Stadium, including former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton and legendary player Ian Wright.
