Over 24,000 people in Kerry are signed up to the new pension auto-enrolment scheme.
The Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings System aims to address the pension coverage gap that exists and to provide workers with access to a quality assured retirement savings scheme.
The most recent figures show that more than 806,000 people have been signed up to the scheme.
More than 24,400 |(24,444) of those are in Kerry.
The figures were provided by Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary following a query Fine Gael TD John Paul O’Shea.
