The Infinix Note 60 Pro turned out to be a really interesting offer. Its 8/256GB version currently costs INR34,999 (USD $365/€315) in India. The price is quite similar in Malaysia – RM1,499 (USD $375/€325). The Malaysian market also offers a 12/256GB version, like the one we are reviewing for RM1,699 (USD $430/€370), which seems like a steep premium just for a RAM upgrade.
Before we share our review verdict, let’s explore some alternative offers in this price bracket that you could consider.
The Note 60 Pro costs as much as the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G in India. The Redmi offers much better ingress protection, a more colorful and properly HDR-enabled display with Dolby Vision support. The Xiaomi’s phone has lower-tier performance though, and its selfie camera isn’t as good. The current Malaysian pricing, however, means you could get the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G at the same price as the Infinix and this Redmi will deliver better performance.
The Motorola Edge 70 may cost as much as the Note 60 Pro in India too. It will offer a more durable and far lighter body, a better display, cameras and GPU performance. Its battery life is not as impressive, though.
The Galaxy A37 is in the same price range as the Note 60 Pro, but except for the complete waterproofing, it’s just as good as the Note 60 Pro.
Finally, the OnePlus Nord 5 has seen some tempting price cuts, and you should consider it. It has a better AMOLED screen, faster hardware, and a similarly capable camera kit. The battery life of the Nord 5 is less impressive, and it lacks some of the Note 60 Pro perks (rear display, FM radio, IR blaster), but it’s still a solid offer and should be on your shortlist.

Our verdict
We are fans of what Infinix has been doing lately and the Infinix Note 60 Pro is easy to recommend. It covers all bases masterfully. It has an excellent design and build quality, a bright display with fast refresh rate, adequate performance, and very good battery life with fast charging.
The camera quality turned out to be solid across the board with selfie camera deserving a mention on its own. There are also a few fan-favorite features, such as an IR blaster, good speakers, an RGB notification light, an FM radio, and the cute Active Matrix Display, which tops it all off.
Yes, we liked the Note 60 Pro – it’s a solid phone with plenty of features and a good retail price. Plus, it has a rich retail box – something that’s a rarity these days. If available in your region, it’s definitely worth a recommendation.
