Class resumes at University of Auckland business school evacuated over suspicious item

An alert sent to students across the campus asked people to evacuate the building and to avoid the area if coming in after a suspicious package was found on level one.

Staff and students at the University of Auckland were evacuated from the Owen G. Glenn Building after a suspicious object was found on the first level.

It asked students not to return to their vehicles if parked in the building.

Students were seen leaving the Grafton Rd building but have since returned after it reopened around midday.
