We last caught up with Kofi Owusu-Ansah, aka Genesis Owusu, following the release of his 2021 debut album Smiling With No Teeth, which went on to earn him four ARIA Awards including the coveted ‘Album of the Year’ award. Since then, he’s toured with the likes of Tame Impala, Paramore, and IDLES, graced global stages at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound, and Austin City Limits, and gained even more ARIA nods with his sophomore record STRUGGLER. Now the Ghanaian-Australian artist is back in the rage studio, celebrating the release of his new album REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE and lining up a fresh playlist full of classics, as well as music you might not have heard before.
