A man charged with the murder of Flaxmere resident Keith Pati has pleaded guilty in the High Court at Napier.

Kereama Rewita, 30, entered the guilty plea on Friday.

Pati, 33, died after being taken to hospital following an assault in Camberley, Hastings on February 16, 2025.

Rewita is due
to be sentenced in the High Court at Napier on July 8.

“Police would like to thank all those who have assisted our investigation into Mr Pati’s death,” said Senior Sergeant Dan Scott.
