A motorbike rider is in hospital after crashing while fleeing police in Auckland today.
The rider received serious injuries in the crash on Highbrook Drive in East Tāmaki, according to police.
The road is currently closed while the Serious Crash Unit attend.
Police said the rider was allegedly travelling at
speed and undertaking dangerous manoeuvres.
