Swedish machinery manufacturer Väderstad has introduced a new generation of Tempo T telescopic planters. The new range comprises the T6 with six row units, the T7 with seven row units, and models featuring variable row spacing.
Row spacing on the new Tempo T telescopic planters can be adjusted from 45 cm to 70 cm on the Tempo T6 and from 50 cm to 80 cm on the Tempo T7. Row spacing is adjusted using a rotary selector.
With the machine in its folded position, the operator simply turns the selector to the desired setting. As the planter unfolds, the row units are automatically positioned at the selected spacing. On previous models, this adjustment had to be carried out manually by loosening, moving and re-tightening each individual row unit. The machine is also equipped with Väderstad’s new row units, which were introduced at Agritechnica 2025.
Row spacing can be set using a selector located on the side of the machine. The operator chooses the desired spacing, after which the machine automatically positions the row units correctly during unfolding. This eliminates the need to adjust each row unit individually.Available from 2027
The new generation of Tempo T planters will be available for the 2027 season. Väderstad has not yet announced the starting price of the machines.
