Margot Robbie is one of Australia’s most successful Hollywood exports. Ask anyone across the globe who she is and you’ll likely get a response. Despite her high-profile career, when it comes to her personal life the actress is quite elusive.
The 35-year-old mysteriously disappeared overnight to 23.7 million fans when she deleted her Instagram account back in June 2021. She’s just one of dozens of A-listers with no social media accounts, including the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

At the time the Barbie and The Wolf of Wall Street actress, made this announcement to her millions of fans: “Jumping off social media for the time being – check out @luckychapentertainment if you’re interested in what we’re up to, otherwise ciao for now! 😘.”
Before deleting her account, she shared glimpses of her personal life including confirmation that she and her now-husband Tom Ackerley had officially married in 2016 as she flashed her stunning diamond ring.

She recently celebrated ten years of marriage
Some fans may not realise that Robbie and her British producer husband Tom Ackerley marked a milestone ten years of marriage this year.
But of course, the pair kept it underwraps as they marked the special occasion privately.
They tied the knot in 2016, back in Byron Bay in NSW. They met back in 2013.

The pair, who were previously based in London, are now based in Los Angeles; in Venice Beach, according to reports.
They were reportedly eyeing off property in Byron Bay a few years ago, but it’s unclear if they snapped up a pad in the celebrity enclave.

She recently made some rare comments about motherhood, saying: “It’s funny if you try to explain it to someone who has kids, you don’t need to because they get it,” Robbie said in conversation with Entertainment Tonight.
“And if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear.”
She added: “It’s the best”.
The actress ‘paid back’ her mum with a special gift
Robbie is believed to be very close to her Australian-based family, despite living in different countries.
The actress once paid off her mother Sarie Kessler’s mortgage in a sweet gesture.
It was reportedly a gift for her milestone 60th birthday around 2014.
“Everything I owed my mum, I had it written down. She’d take money out of the house mortgage [to] lend me money,” Robbie once told CBS Sunday Morning.

“So I always knew, I was like, ‘I gotta pay that back’.
“And then one day, when I made enough money, I just paid that whole mortgage off completely.”
Robbie is said to have a net worth upwards of $US60 million, or $85 million in Australia.
The Aussie is tight-knit with her three siblings
Her brother Lockie once shared a picture of his mum and sister Margot in a post, of the pair smiling together on the red carpet, and spoke about their upbringing and how hard their mum worked to support them. Margot has three siblings.
“She brought up 4 of us on a shoestring budget, sacrificing her own needs in favour of ours – as parents so often do – and never once wavered in her support for us, or what we wanted to pursue,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“She has always been all heart, so to see her on the red carpet, smiling so much with my sister, makes me feel proud knowing what she went through has had such a happy ending.”
According to Architectural Digest, Margot purchased two homes next to each other for her mother and sister in Queensland for $2.5 million.
