Theatre’s biggest night is here again! The 79th annual Tony Awards return to Radio City Music Hall tonight in New York City, where the biggest shows on Broadway will be celebrated with an evening full of music, dance, and drama.
For the first time ever, pop singer P!nk is serving as host, but this isn’t her first time being connected to the theatre world. In the past, her hits have been featured in jukebox musicals like Moulin Rouge! The Musical and & Juliet. “Broadway has shaped my life and how I put my own shows together—it is a community that is supportive and inclusive, and full of talent and love,” she said in a statement. “These people give magic every single day, and I cannot wait to celebrate them with the entire world.”
At the 2026 ceremony, some of the biggest nominees include Rose Byrne for Fallen Angels, Daniel Radcliffe for Every Brilliant Thing, and Carrie Coon for Bug. Other starry names up for a Tony include Nathan Lane, John Lithgow, Lesley Manville, Stephanie Hsu, Christopher Abbott, and June Squibb.
Two musicals lead the nominations this year, each with 12 nods. The first is The Lost Boys, an adaptation of the 1987 comedy-horror film of the same name, along with Schmigadoon!, a reimagining of the musical Apple TV+ series that premiered in 2021. Close behind is the newest revival of Ragtime.
You can stream the 2026 Tony Awards on Paramount+ or watch it live on CBS, beginning at 8 p.m. EST. However, before that all begins, we’ll have our eyes locked on the stream of stars hitting the carpet.
