Police have arrested and charged a man in relation to an alleged attack on a 74-year-old outside a Whangārei fish and chip shop more than a month ago.
The serious assault happened outside Stumpy’s on Whangārei’s Riverside Drive on April 22, with the pensioner reportedly suffering a brain bleed.
