“It’s quite chilly out there tonight, hence the tights, um, so just glad that I executed a clean race, I think. I think there’s still some bits to, to clean up, but I think for the first race on European soil it’s pretty good,” Hobbs said.
Hobbs’ last Diamond League podium came in 2025 at the Monaco Diamond League, where she also finished in third place. Her time on that day was 11.12s.
Hobbs will next line up in Ostrava at the Ostrava Golden Spike, where she last year she broke her New Zealand and Oceania record of 10.94s.
“I’m really looking forward to that one. That’s where my PB is from, and last year it was pretty hot, so fingers crossed for some good conditions,” Hobbs said.
