STATION SALES

Seattle-Tacoma – Iglesia Pentecostal Vispera del Fin has filed a $750,000 deal to buy Spanish religious “Radio Amor” KMIA (1210) from Bustos Media. The deal also includes the Auburn, WA-licensed translator K266CP at 101.1 FM. Iglesia Pentecostal Vispera will operate the station under a time brokerage agreement until closing. It already owns Spanish contemporary Christian stations KLDY (1280) and KBRO (1480) in the Seattle market. Once the sale closes, Amador Bustos will still own four stations in the area, including regional Mexican “La Gran D 99.3” KDDS, Spanish AC “X-96.1 KXXO, regional Mexican “La Z 103.3” KZNW, and “La Z 102.9” KZTM

Hartford, CT – Mable Duncan’s Island Mango Radio has filed a $110,000 deal to buy variety “Island Mango Radio” WNEZ (1230) from Gois Broadcasting. The deal also includes the Manchester, CT-licensed translator W287CS at 105.3 FM. Duncan doesn’t own any other stations. Paul Gois earlier closed a $400,000 deal to sell tropical “Mega 910” WLAT to Relevant Radio in March. He will still own the currently-silent WKND (1480) in the market.

Nevada – William Lynett and Kevin Fitzgerald’s WRL has filed a $21,684 deal to buy regional Mexican KPKK (101.1) from Sky Media. The men hold interests in three other stations in the region, including “Ace Country” KACE/KRZQ (98.3/105.9) and talk KMZQ (670).

California – Richard Dalton’s Audio Sanctuary has filed a $15,000 deal to buy adult alternative “Jive Radio” KVYA, Cedarville, CA (91.5) from Openskyradio. Dalton already owns KNTC, Tonopah, NV (101.3) Once the sale closes, Openskyradio will own three stations in California, Oregon and Mississippi.

TRANSLATOR SALES

Detroit – Birach Broadcasting has filed a $450,000 deal to buy the Detroit, MI-licensed translator W228CJ at 93.5 FM from Beasley Media Group. Sima Birach plans to simulcast ethnic WNZK (690) on the signal. He also owns regional Mexican “La Explosiva 1090” WCAR and oldies WPON (1460) in the Detroit metro. The translator has been airing the regional Mexican “La Tricolor” format since last October via an HD channel of classic hip-hop “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC. Once the sale closes, in addition to WMGC Beasley will still own rock WRIF (101.1), classic rock WCSX (94.7), and adult R&B “105.9 Kiss FM” WDMK in the market.

New York – Loam Media has filed a $425,000 deal to buy the New York, NY-licensed translator W300EI at 107.9 FM from Michael Celenza. Loam Media is a partnership of Tom Evans, Allen Sill, and George Grant. It currently owns religious WFME (1560) in the market as well as its translator, the New York-licensed W292FV at 106.3 FM. CLOSINGS

Topeka, KS – MSC Radio Group has closed a $1.95 million deal to buy adult hits “98.5 Jack FM” KSAJ, “The Big 94.5 Country” WIBW-FM, “My Country 106.9” KTPK, and news-talk WIBW (580) from Jeff Warshaw’s Connoisseur Media. The deal also includes the Topeka, KS-licensed translator K285GL at 104.9 FM that simulcasts WIBW-AM. MSC Radio Group is a partnership among President and majority owner Justin Fluke, as well as Jake Spalding, Wade Gerstner, and Seth Tollefson. The company currently owns six radio stations in Kansas and Nebraska along with regional MSC News and MSC Sports platforms, and five live online sports streaming channels. California – Marco Mazzoli and Stefania Pittaluga’s Anco Media Group has closed a $1.4 million deal to buy five stations in the Victor Valley region from Heftel Broadcasting. The stations include dance “Hits 98.1” KRXV, Yermo, CA (98.1); “Highway Country” KIXW-FM, Lenwood, CA (107.3); dance “Revolution 99.7” KHYZ, Mountain Pass, CA; hot AC KHWY, Essex, CA (98.9); and “Highway Country” KIXF, Baker, CA (101.5). The deal marks a West Coast leap for Anco Media Group, which currently owns two dance stations in South Florida — “Revolution 93.5” WBGF in the West Palm Beach market and “Revolution 93.5” WZFL, Islamorada, FL. Richard Heftel — a longtime Hispanic radio broadcaster — still owns the “Pure Rock” simulcast of KHDR, Baker, CA (94.9) and rock KNAC, Lenwood, CA (96.9).

Atlanta – James Hawkins and Warren Hawkins’ Warhawk Media has closed a $567,356 deal to buy classic hits WJBB (1300) from Batten Communications. The deal also includes the Winder, GA-licensed translator W296CX at 107.1 FM. Once the sale closes, Jeffrey Batten will still own talk WJRB (95.1) and classic hits WJUL (1230) in Northern Georgia.

Minneapolis-St. Paul – Heartland Signal has closed a $250,000 deal to buy news-talk KTNF (950) from JR Broadcasting. With the closing, Heartland Signal still owns ethnic WSBC (1240) and talk WCPT (820) in the Chicago market. JR Broadcasting doesn’t own any other stations.

Detroit & Grand Rapids, MI – Tyrone and Portia Bynum’s Ghettothropic has closed a $170,000 deal to buy WPRR (1680) in the Grand Rapids, MI market from Goodrich Radio. The deal also includes the Grand Rapids, MI-licensed translator W273DD at 102.5 FM. Ghettothropic has operated the station under a local marketing agreement since July 2020, and $120,000 in LMA fees applied to the purchase price. In a related deal in the Detroit market, Robert Goodrich appointed Tyrone and Portia Bynum to the board for noncommercial WPRR-FM (90.1). Each will have a 33% stake in WPRR-FM, which they have also operated since 2020. Goodrich will now hold the remaining third.

Spokane, WA – Gregory Obata and Keith Shipman’s Horizon Broadcasting has closed a $155,000 deal to buy KSBN (1230) from the Second Amendment Foundation. The station has launched a news-talk format. Horizon Broadcasting owns four stations and KSBN becomes its first in the Spokane market. Obata has been the General Manager of Horizon’s Bend, OR stations since 2022, and he will hold a 10% stake in the Spokane operations. The filing says the purchase price will be paid with $5,000 cash and a $150,000 advertising credit that the Second Amendment Foundation can use during a three year period following closing. Horizon Broadcast Group doesn’t own any stations in Spokane, but it already operates KPKL (107.1) under an LMA with owner Spokane Broadcasting Company — and it includes an option to purchase the station. The closing leaves the Second Amendment Foundation with the currently-silent KBNP (1410) in the Portland, OR market.

Elmira-Corning, NY – Tom Hoyt’s Pure Radio has closed a $126,600 deal to buy classic hits “V-98.3” WVIN, Bath, NY from Tower Broadcasting. The deal includes a $120,6000 promissory note to be paid over a 10-year period. Pure Radio owns “CJ Country” WCJW, Warsaw, NY (1140) and its six associated FM translators. That format has now been placed on WVIN as well. The station sale follows the death of Tower Broadcasting owner Gordon Ichikawa in December 2023. Tower Broadcasting still owns country WABH (1380) in the area.

Burlington-Plattsburgh, VT-NY – Myers Mermel and Caroline McLain have closed a $2,000 deal to buy WIRY (1340) from David Favro’s Hometown Communications. The station has been off the air since March 2025, and the seller filed initial paperwork in September to cancel the license but never followed through with the plan. Mermel and McLain already own an interest in classic hits WCVT (101.7) in the market.

Kentucky – Somerset Educational Broadcasting Foundation has closed a $100 deal to buy religious WIMV, Owingsville, KY (89.3) from Corban Broadcasting. Somerset already owns religious “King Of Kings Radio” WPTJ (90.7) in the region.
