One person has died in a crash between a car and a truck in the Waikato.
Emergency services were called to the crash just after 2am, at the intersection of State Highway 29 and State Highway 24 near the community of Te Poi, southeast of Matamata.
Police said the driver
and sole occupant of the car died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
