You have to hand it to Apple TV. While the streamer might not have as big an audience as, say, Netflix or Disney+, it’s really made a splash by creating shows that people can’t stop talking about. The latest of which is Widow’s Bay, a mystery-packed horror comedy show about spooky goings-on in a small island community. Created by Katie Dippold, it’s been hooking in new viewers across its run of episodes thanks to that wild tonal balance of big laughs and genuine terrors – and there’ll be more to come.

Yes, Widow’s Bay will officially be back for Season 2, Apple has confirmed. The news was announced by a little teaser video confirming an additional batch of episodes. Plus, there’s additional good tidings for Dippold, who has signed an overall deal with Apple TV going forward. The announcement comes just days ahead of the Season 1 finale, which arrives on the streaming service on June 17.

So, with one episode still to come, and an additional season of supernatural shenanigans on the horizon, there’s never been a better time to venture to the idyllic island of Widow’s Bay. Nothing spooky to see here! No siree.
