Aussie influencer Indy Clinton has stood by her husband Ben Azar’s side as he faces a workplace court battle, but it was her highly controversial choice of attire that made headlines.
While she hasn’t been called to the stand as a witness, the popular digital creator sent a crystal-clear message to onlookers when she arrived at Federal Court wearing a bright red T-shirt emblazoned with an X-rated slogan.
The 28-year-old stepped out in front of cameras wearing a tight top that read “Enjoy C*ck”, deliberately styled to mimic the iconic white script of the classic Coca-Cola logo.
Clinton paired the explicit graphic tee with high-waisted blue jeans, thin-framed sunglasses, clear pointed pumps, a watch, and giant silver hoop earrings.
She wore her long brunette hair down and straight as she walked into the building hand-in-hand with Azar, with the couple frequently sharing smiles for the waiting media.
Her husband – who previously dated designer Pip Edwards – was dressed considerably more traditionally for the legal outing, sporting a navy blazer, an open-collared white shirt, and jeans while tightly clutching a Manila folder.
The high-profile influencer did not shy away from the attention her outfit attracted, taking to her Instagram story earlier in the day to share a completely unfiltered close-up photo of the provocative shirt.
She followed the photo with a candid TikTok video detailing the outing, which instantly racked up thousands of views.
“I’ve had a really adventurous day,” she told her fans directly in the piece-to-camera clip.
“This morning, I actually accompanied my husband as his trophy wife to court.”
The mum-of-three admitted that she didn’t have enough time to film a traditional “get ready with me” video because she was rushing, but she was excited to share the look with her fans.
“I’m really not here to honk my own horn, but I do think I look great in red,” she continued.
“And I never thought I would – I never thought red was my colour, and looking at these images, damn.”
She concluded the video by saying she had a really good time with “Big Eddie” and considered the entire courtroom outing a romantic date.
The bold fashion statement prompted her followers to rush to the comment section.
“You looked like a supermodel,” one praised.
“The shirt has me dead!” another added.
As a third wrote: “Truly iconic! That’s a supportive wife,” and a fourth: “You’ve seriously outdone yourself.”
However, one sceptical viewer said they were “surprised they let you in dressed like that”.
There is no strictly enforced, written dress code for the general public in the Federal Court of Australia, but its generally considered to be a highly formal environment.
People are encouraged to dress conservatively, neatly, and respectfully to demonstrate respect for the legal system, according to the Court’s website.
“This includes removing sunglasses, hats or caps prior to entering the courtroom,” the site’s etiquette page reads.
The court appearance comes as Azar officially sues his long-time former employer, global real estate giant Savills, after his employment was abruptly terminated following more than 22 years with the company.
According to court documents from the case originally filed on March 27, Azar claims Savills breached crucial workplace protections in dismissing him from his executive role, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Azar is believed to be arguing unfair dismissal under general protections provisions, which protect Australian workers from adverse actions.
Generally speaking, such legal breaches can occur when an employer takes adverse action against a worker for prohibited reasons, including exercising existing workplace rights or being subjected to unlawful discrimination.
Savills has not publicly commented on the active legal claims, and neither has Azar.
It comes after years of alleged internal tension surrounding his wife’s incredibly high-profile digital career.
Clinton, who is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most successful and lucrative digital creators, has previously spoken candidly about the treatment her husband faced from colleagues within the property sector.
She once described the real estate industry as a very male-dominated environment, claiming that her husband’s corporate colleagues struggled to accept his association with her public life.
She previously admitted that she had resorted to blocking several of his co-workers on social media after Azar copped flack at work following a guest appearance on her podcast.
Clinton has also claimed that the ongoing workplace backlash left Azar incredibly worried about engaging with the public, despite his personal support for her career.
“It is one step forward, two steps back,” she previously shared regarding his public profile.
“He gets comfortable … then he sees these things and it makes him want to go back into his shell.”
