Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn and actress Sarah Pidgeon enjoyed a PDA-packed date in New York City over the weekend.

The English actor, 35, and the Love Story star, 29, were seen kissing and hugging in Brooklyn on Saturday.

The twosome strolled through the city with their arms around each other and enjoyed beverages while smiling, laughing and chatting.

The date lasted for hours, with the outing starting when the sun was up and continuing into nightfall.

Pidgeon sported a white tank top, jeans and black ballet flats, while Alwyn cut a similarly casual figure in a black T-shirt, jeans and black sneakers.

This seemingly marks the pair’s second time stepping out together, as social media rumours recently surfaced regarding an alleged outing in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighbourhood last Wednesday.

Alwyn, notably, dated Swift for nearly seven years from the fall of 2016 until calling it quits in 2023.

The pop superstar, 36, later struck up a romance with NFL player Travis Kelce, who proposed to her in August 2025.

The duo are set to wed on July 3 at NYC’s Madison Square Garden.

Swifties have speculated that some of her Tortured Poets Department hits – specifically Loml, So Long, London and I Can Do It With a Broken Heart – contain references to her break-up from Alwyn.

The Harriet star, for his part, addressed the split in a June 2024 interview with the London Times.

“I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathise and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years,” he said at the time.

He described the “unusual and abnormal” high-profile romance as “a hard thing to navigate.”

Alwyn elaborated, “You have something very real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space: tabloids, social media, press, where it is then dissected, speculated on, pulled out of shape beyond recognition.”

However, he claimed to have “made [his] peace” with the “gap” between “what is known and what is said.”

His relationship with Swift was largely private.

Interestingly, Pidgeon has never confirmed any romantic relationship and fiercely protects her personal life.

In addition to portraying Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in Love Story alongside Paul Anthony Kelly (John F. Kennedy Jr.), Pidgeon is best known for her roles in The Wilds and Tiny Beautiful Things.
