An Air New Zealand plane is stuck in soft ground at Christchurch Airport after it was pushed off its stand this morning.

The flight to Auckland was preparing to depart when, during pushback, the aircraft’s main wheels came into contact with the grass beside the taxiway, Air New Zealand
chief safety and risk officer Nathan McGraw said.
