DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – KBJR Northern News Now is experiencing ongoing technical issues impacting NBC and CBS broadcasts Sunday morning.
A major problem with master control systems has caused some viewers to experience interruptions, extended periods of black screen or missing network programming, according to News Director Michael Baldwin.
Parts of morning shows were affected by the outage.
The station’s engineering team is working to resolve the issue.
Upcoming programming may also be affected, including the final round of the U.S. Open, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on NBC.
Baldwin said the station will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
