The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is encouraging the public to download its TBI Find app as a way to stay informed about missing persons cases across the state.
The TBI mobile app was developed in 2022 and so far this year, the agency 49 silver alerts across 21 counties in Tennessee.
The app currently provides real-time Silver Alerts for missing senior citizens, along with case information and photos that can be shared directly with the public.
TBI officials say public awareness can play a critical role in investigations, especially when information is shared quickly. The app allows users to view missing persons profiles, receive alerts and submit tips to investigators.

Looking ahead, the TBI hopes to expand the app’s capabilities to include Amber Alerts and other alert notifications, giving the public additional ways to stay informed and assist with investigations.
