Family Life Radio (FLR) and Intentional Life Media (ILM) are recognizing Chief Broadcast Officer Adam Biddell for 20 years of service with the ministry and 37 years in Christian radio broadcasting.
Biddell began his radio career in 1989 at KCJH in Stockton, CA, where he hosted an overnight program. He later joined KYCC, serving in a variety of positions between 1990 and 2008, including on-air host, production manager, promotions director, music director and station manager.
He joined FLR in 2006 as station manager and morning host at KFLT in Tucson. Over the following two decades, he took on increasing leadership responsibilities, serving as Network Program Director in 2009, Chief Broadcast Systems Officer in 2017 and Chief Broadcast Officer in 2025.
In his current role, Biddell oversees engineering operations, regulatory compliance, station growth, programming and broadcast strategy.
Reflecting on his career, Biddell said one of the most meaningful aspects has been working alongside colleagues.
“Building strong teams has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career,” Biddell says in a news release. “The success we’ve experienced has always been the result of talented people working together to serve listeners and advance the ministry.”
During Biddell’s tenure, FLR expanded its reach through several growth initiatives, including the acquisition and launch of WDRQ in Detroit, one of the ministry’s largest expansion projects.
Biddell also credited mentors and colleagues who influenced his career, including former program director Brent Randall and longtime associates Michelle Younkman and John Brock.
He said a principle he learned early in his career continues to guide his work.
“Meeting people at the point of their need is something I heard early in my radio career, and it has stayed with me to this day,” said Biddell. “That’s what I am called to do.”
FLR and ILM said the recognition marks Biddell’s contributions to the organizations and his long career in Christian broadcasting.
