BEND, Ore. — Mt. Bachelor opens its summer recreation season Thursday, bringing mountain biking, ziplining, hiking and more to the Cascade resort.
After a winter that felt more like spring, summer is arriving in force — and Mt. Bachelor is nearly ready for the warmer months. Visitors can look forward to scenic chairlift rides, sunset dinners and two new disc golf courses.
The terrain park for mountain bikers features 13 trails spanning all skill levels, from beginners to experts. The resort also offers overnight camping and childcare options for families.

Mt. Bachelor will kick off summer operations on Thursday, June 25 with the most expansive opening weekend terrain offering to date, featuring 13 Bike Park trails and top-to bottom hiking access. Guests can also enjoy sunset dinners, zipline ziptours, scenic chairlift rides, overnight camping, childcare, and two new disc golf courses.
Opening Day will feature live music by Blackstrap Bluegrass.
Daily dining options include Rock Bar in the West Village base area and Scapolos at Pine Marten Lodge, accessed via hiking trail or chairlift. The Mt. Bachelor Sports Pro Shop will also be open daily, carrying the latest bike gear, apparel, logo wear, and souvenirs.
Kids Bike Camps kick off July 6, with 3-day and 5-day options for youth ages 8-15. Discounted Bike Park passes and rentals are available with the purchase of a camp. Transportation from the Bend Park N Ride to Mt. Bachelor is included.
