Financial services provider, MobiPay has strengthened its commitment to information security by achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI), the global business improvement standards company.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognised standard for information security management systems. It provides a structured way for organisations to manage information security risks and protect the information they own or handle.
MobiPay, in a statement said the certification reflects its commitment to managing information security with discipline, governance and continuous improvement. It further forms part of the company’s trust commitment, particularly in a time when cybersecurity, fraud, phishing and data protection are becoming important public and business concerns in the country.
