MISSOULA, Mont. — A common blood pressure medication is being recalled nationwide this morning.
Inventia Healthcare is recalling more than 11,000 bottles of chlorthalidone 25-milligram tablets.
The company says certain lots failed dissolution testing, meaning the tablets may not break down properly in the body and could be less effective than intended.
The recall affects 100-count and 1,000-count bottles with expiration dates in April 2027.
If you take chlorthalidone, check the lot number on your bottle and contact your pharmacist or health care provider with questions.
Also this morning, a nasal spray sold through Amazon is being recalled nationwide over possible microbial contamination.
Beekeeper’s Naturals is recalling one lot of its saline nasal spray after testing found elevated levels of yeast and other possible contaminants.
The company says people with weakened immune systems or lung conditions could face a risk of serious infections if they use the product.
