A Waikato state highway is closed after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle this morning.
The crash on State Highway 39/Kakaramea Rd, south of Whatawhata, was reported around 6.40am, police said.
“Initial indications are that there are serious injuries.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.”
