Person dies after crash in Pahiatua

One person has died after a crash in Pahiatua yesterday.

Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Huxley and Wakeman Sts about 12.15pm.

One person was found in a critical condition and taken to hospital, police said.

Despite best efforts by medical professionals,
the person died overnight.

The Serious Crash Unit has conducted a scene examination and enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
