Mate 80 series continues to remain at the top of the Chinese phone market, and among all four models, the standard version has ranked as the best-selling Huawei device in H1 2026. A new report is showing the top 5 Huawei handsets for the first half of this year.
SmartChipInsider on Weibo has shared a list of the 5 best-selling Huawei phones in H1 2026, and the standard Mate 80 model topped this listing. The device accounts for 14% of the company’s total smartphone sales in the first six months.
It was for the first time that Huawei introduced several Pro-like features to the vanilla version. From a three-punch hole design on the screen to satellite communication and new chipset, the device brought many ultimate specs at an affordable price.
Early reports suggested that the standard Mate 80 with 16GB + 512GB variant has scored the highest in sales. It even broke the iPhone 17 Pro’s supremacy in the market. (Know More)
The second rank goes to the Enjoy 90 Pro Max smartphone. The phone is just perfect for budget-conscious customers looking for a device with premium-grade specs.
Enjoy 90 Pro Max owns 11% of Huawei’s total smartphone shipments made in the first half of this year. The device debuted in March and surpassed all iPhone 17 models in the Chinese smartphone market with its top-notch functionalities.
Huawei Nova 15 has achieved the third position in the latest ranking. It has a 10% share of Huawei phone sales. Launched last year, the model gained attention for its increased performance and imaging features over the previous models.
Mate 80 Pro Max is in the fourth spot with 5% of the company’s sales share. Unlike the standard model, Huawei’s first PRO MAX smartphone didn’t gain much share at the initial stage in the market due to the tight supply chain.
The situation came under control in February this year when Huawei opened the 30-day pre-order subscription for the high-end Mate 80 models. Nova 15 Pro grabs the fifth spot with 5% of the sales share. It would be interesting to see if the newly released Huawei devices can overtake these ranks in the future.
