Missing Henderson girl Taia Witarata found safe after police search

Police have found missing girl Taia Witarata after an urgent appeal for information in the West Auckland area.

Taia Witarata, 10, was reported missing from Henderson today and had last been seen around 1.30pm near Henderson Park on Wilsher Cres.

Police confirmed they have now located her “safe and
well”.

“Taia is not familiar with the West Auckland area, and police and her family have great concerns for her welfare,” police had earlier said.

“She is believed to still be in the Henderson area.”
