Police have recovered the body of a man from Wellington Harbour after a major search operation this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the waterfront near Te Papa at about 2.30pm after reports that a man had entered the water and failed to resurface.
A search was launched immediately with
the aid of the Police National Dive Squad.
