EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Singer/songwriter John Mellencamp will be making a stop in Evansville for an exclusive open rehearsal at the Ford Center.
Ford Center officials say entry is free for local residents with non- perishable food items, water, diapers, and hygiene items (no bar soap) for the Evansville Rescue Mission.
Officials say Evansville Rescue Mission vehicles will be parked on Main Street to accept the items before entering the building.
Tickets will be distributed to those in line on a first-come basis.
Mellencamp is known for hits like ‘Hurts So Good” and “Jack & Diane”
Doors will open at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8.
