Arrow McLaren is the the only team in the series affiliated with a Formula One constructor, with Brown overseeing operations for all McLaren racing teams.
Dixon will race bearing the famous McLaren Kiwi logo, a link to the team’s New Zealand heritage.
“As a New Zealander, being part of Bruce McLaren’s legacy will be special; his spirit and grit are still very much rooted in that team, and I’m excited to carry that on.”
Dixon won six championships with Chip Ganassi Racing.
Kanaan, team principal of Arrow McLaren, said: “It’s never an easy decision, but when you have the opportunity to bring drivers of this calibre into your team, you take it seriously. Scott’s accomplishments speak for themselves”.
Rosenqvist, of Sweden, was with Arrow McLaren from 2021-2024 before switching to Meyer Shank Racing for the past three seasons.
The pair will join Pato O’Ward, of Mexico, in a three-driver line up at Arrow McLaren.
“I’m excited to return to Arrow McLaren next season and reunite with Pato, of course, and also Tony, Zak and the crew and engineers I worked with previously,” Rosenqvist said.
“There are a lot of familiar faces, and we’ve got an incredible line-up with Scott joining … I think our collective experience will be a huge benefit. I’ve still got work to do to finish this season strong, but I’m looking forward to what’s to come at Arrow McLaren.”
Current drivers Nolan Siegel and Christian Lundgaard will leave the team to make room for Dixon and Rosenqvist.
