“When I am tired, as you will be able to see in this video, when I am tired, I am a different person.
“I talk differently, I can’t string a sentence together. I just keep saying, ‘Um, um, um’ because I can’t like get my words out quickly enough.
“It doesn’t flow, basically … that is why I am a woman that needs my sleep.
“That is why I am already working as hard as I can to get my boy into a routine because I need this little boy to be the same kind of sleeper that Bambi has been for us.
“That comes with work, patience, perseverance and for us, a really, really solid routine.”
According to Patient.info, “baby brain” “refers to the occasional forgetfulness some women experience when they’re expecting”.
Despite describing the challenges of the early weeks with a newborn, Molly also showed lighter moments from family life over the weekend.
Sharing photographs on Instagram Stories, she revealed Tommy had slipped into a pair of her high heels during what she described as a “delusional” late-night feed with Midas as the couple coped with interrupted sleep.
One photograph showed Tommy trying on the shoes, while Molly explained they were both feeling “delusional” because of their lack of sleep.
She also shared a photograph of herself feeding Midas, writing: “If you don’t laugh, you’ll certainly cry.”
Tommy also recently shared a family moment with the couple’s two children, showing Bambi affectionately leaning over to greet her younger brother.
In the video, Bambi wrapped one arm around Tommy’s neck before kissing Midas on the forehead. The siblings were then seen gently tapping the newborn’s nose together.
Molly and Tommy’s relationship has remained firmly in the spotlight following their widely publicised split and reconciliation, with their journey continuing to attract significant attention across social media and in Molly’s documentary series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All.
Alongside running her fashion brand Maebe, Molly has continued to document her post-partum experience online, with her latest vlog, A Realistic Week with Me Postpartum, focusing on the realities of sleep deprivation and recovery after childbirth.
Molly and Tommy first found fame on Love Island, where they met during the 2019 series before finishing as runners-up. Since leaving the ITV2 dating show, Molly has built a career as an entrepreneur and content creator, while Tommy has continued his boxing career following appearances on the programme alongside his relationship with Molly, which has remained one of the show’s most closely followed success stories.
