Legally Blonde star Luke Wilson, 54, and his girlfriend Kendall Yates, 24, have welcomed their first child together.
The couple were spotted with their newborn daughter at a press event in California on July 7 for Wilson’s new Netflix series The Hawk.

They were holding their baby in a carrier and introduced their daughter to guests and cast mates at the event,People reported. It is the first child for both Yates and Wilson.
Wilson looks relaxed at the event, wearing casual clothes and tracksuit pants. Yates was spotted in an oversized shirt with cowboy boots.
Wilson and Yates have been together for a few years but are both notoriously private. Wilson’s Instagram features just three posts, with the last post being November 1, 2025.
While the star is very private, he did open up about wanting children in an old interview from 2007.
“I don’t have a girlfriend, but I wouldn’t mind one. I definitely want [kids] at some point,” he told People at the time.
Before their most recent outing, where they were spotted with their child, they’d only been photographed together a handful of times.
The pair were snapped walking along the beach together in April 2026.
They were also photographed at the Premiere of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 at a Steakhouse in Los Angeles in June, 2024. Yates would have been 22 at the time, while Luke would have been 52.
Luke is the last of Wilson’s brothers to have children. His older brother, Zoolander Actor Owen Wilson, 57, has three children: two sons, Robert Ford, 15, and Finn, 12, and a daughter Lyla, 7.

Wilson had his first son, Robert Ford, in 2011 with his then-girlfriend Jade Duell. He welcomed his second, Finn, with his close friend and personal trainer, Caroline Lindqvist. The pair were not romantically involved but decided to have a child together and have raised him as friends.
Owen also has a third child, daughter Lyla, with Varunie Vongsvirates. However, he does not have anything to do with her, aside from providing financial support, according to People.
The eldest Wilson brother, Andrew, 61, has one son, Joseph.
