Five-time Limerick All-Ireland winner has been appointed as senior financial planner

Tom Morrissey is set to give it his all on the field against Galway for the 2026 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final later this month.
But first, Tom has been announced as the Senior Financial Planner at SYS Financial.

SYS Financial, one of Ireland’s leading financial advisory firms, announced the appointment of Tom Morrisey, five-time All-Ireland-winning hurler, as Senior Financial Planner. Tom is part of the Limerick team that will battle against Galway to win the 2026 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final this month.

Tom brings a wealth of knowledge from over six years of working in the tax and financial industry. A qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor, he previously held the position of Tax Manager at EY. He also holds a Master of Taxation from the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick.

Usually lining out as a left-wing forward for Limerick and his local club Ahane, Tom will bring his persistence for excellence and strong leadership skills to SYS Financial to build excellent relationships with clients and advise them on how to best financially plan for their retirement.
