Napier boat theft: Police seek sightings of ‘Mighty Pelican’ and trailer

Mighty Pelican and its trailer were reported stolen on June 18.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find the boat “Mighty Pelican” and its trailer after it was taken from a Napier marina.

Between 7pm and 8pm on Thursday, June 18, the boat was taken from a commercial area on West Quay.

The “Mighty Pelican” is a 2023 Stabicraft
and was on a silver boat trailer with the registration 653M8.

A white Nissan Navara double cab ute was seen entering the area about 7.50pm on June 18 and police want to hear from anyone with information or footage of this vehicle or its movements that night.

Police are also seeking anyone who has seen the boat and trailer since it was reported stolen.
