A main Coromandel Peninsula road near Tairua has closed after a car crash that has left one person seriously injured and others hurt.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on Tairua Whitianga Rd/State Highway 25 near Pumpkin Hill at 1.30pm.
A police spokesperson said one person received serious
injuries, one had moderate injuries and two others received minor injuries.
