The relationship between Prince Harry and a popular member of the Royal Family is “effectively over”, according to one royal commentator. Harry’s relationship with his family and extended family has been rocky in recent years, as he and his wife have put down roots in California after stepping back from official duties in 2020.

They have made a few public appearances, and it looks like Beatrice is ready to beseen more in public.

That is according to Charlotte Griffiths, the Editor at Large of the Mail on Sunday. Appearing on the True Royalty Podcast, she revealed that Beatrice was spotted at a gathering in Saint Tropez, France, and one telling interaction gives insight into where she stands with her cousin, Prince Harry.

“I would have thought she’d be lying low, but instead she’s gone to this incredibly fashionable restaurant and mingled with, actually, some medium rent celebrities like Kelly Brook.”

However, it was another famous face that she and her husband apparently had lunch with that would suggest she and Harry are not very close nowadays: Piers Morgan.

“I thought that was very telling because, of course, Piers Morgan is her cousin Prince Harry’s absolute nemesis,” Griffiths said. “So any friendship she has with Prince Harry is effectively over from this moment.”

Piers Morgan has a famous feud with Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, which has led to heated TV debates and the presenter even stepping away from his hosting gig at Good Morning Britain.

Although he previously considered her to be a friend, he eventually went on to describe the Duchess as a “grasping, selfish, scheming Kardashian wannabe” and a “narcissistic whiny brat”.
