The World Cup may be the sporting event of the summer, but Wimbledon 2026 served up a high-fashion, star-studded alternative with a sprinkle of royalty. Sunday’s final delivered all of the polish expected of Centre Court, with Kate Middleton joined by her husband, Prince William, and their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte to watch Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the men’s singles final.
As part of her duties as the All England Club patron, Kate also presented Italy’s Sinner with the winner’s trophy.
Amid sweltering temperatures, Kate wore a wool midi dress with a caped top in a grass-green hue from one of her go-to British designer labels, Emilia Wickstead. Charlotte was dressed in a blue dress with frilled sleeves while George and William wore suits. It was Kate’s third Wimbledon 2026 outing, after making her first mere days after climbing the U.K.’s three highest mountains in under 24 hours.
The family was joined by a host of A-listers for one of the most prestigious events on the British social calendar.
Jennifer Lopez made her Wimbledon debut in a chic Ralph Lauren outfit. Her statement hat might have come close to running afoul of Wimbledon’s rules because its wide brim risked obstructing other spectators’ views, potentially making it a “nuisance or annoyance” under the tournament’s conditions of entry.
She sat beside Tom Hiddleston, who looked dapper in a pinstripe Ralph Lauren suit. Andrew Garfield was the row in front of them and Wicked star Cynthia Erivo just behind. Acting legend Dustin Hoffman was seated behind the royals and close to British singer Raye.
Other famous faces spotted included Bohemian Rhapsody’s Rami Malek, Ben Stiller and Steve Martin (who’s currently staying in London while filming Only Murders in the Building). Anna Wintour took in the match with Sienna Miller and Nicole Kidman, who was clad in an all-white pantsuit and tie. Lily Collins, Mel B, Letitia Wright, Rivals actor David Tennant, Theo James, Adolescence star Stephen Graham, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Jaafar Jackson and Daisy Edgar-Jones were also among the celebrity spectators.
