Somewhere on Earth, there’s a solar eclipse every 18 months or so — and the next one is coming up in one month.
There hasn’t been one anywhere since 2024, when the United States got to experience the otherworldly for the second time in seven years: First on Aug. 21, 2017, and the other on April 8, 2024. This time, on Aug. 12, a few lucky countries in Europe and Asia will get to experience the show.
